About Pickens County
Habitat for Humanity
Pickens County Habitat for Humanity provides a hand up, not a handout, to people in need in Pickens County, South Carolina. Building a Habitat house is a partnership with the homeowners, Habitat for Humanity, and Habitat volunteers. Habitat for Humanity
builds homes with people...not for people.
Pickens County Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian ministry that partners with the community to build homes for and with low income
families who need decent, affordable shelter.
We rely on volunteer labor and we need YOU to volunteer!
See our Volunteer page for ideas on how you can help. Some jobs can be done from home, some involve office work, and some
jobs are construction related. Whatever your age or skill level, there is a job that you can do to provide a house for those
in need.
